FREDERICTON, NB

Over the years, Stephen continued to ferment a variety of beers and wines, moving back to NB throughout the process. He was always very interested in Belgian style beers and chokecherry wine; especially when he could pick his own chokecherries in Fredericton, N.B.

The Grimross Story

Finding our

NAME

When Stephen and Dawn were looking for a name, local and meaningful was important and when they came across Grimross Island something clicked for them. In his earlier years, Stephen would spend a lot of his time on the island with friends and family. The name “Grimross” had personal meaning, historical meaning, it was local and it was catchy.

FAMILY

Grimross was created by a family and will always want to remain as a family business. A good portion of Grimross’s employees have been nieces, nephews, daughters and more to Stephen and Dawn. As well as those who are not blood related are still considered family because the entire Grimross team is a family.
