Light amber colour with a light haze, no particulates, a moderate amount of white foam, and light lacing.
Citrus-orange hop-forward, light pineyness (not overpowering), light floral hop, medium toasty & light caramel malt profile. Should not be overly nutty. Low-medium red apple-pear esters. Aroma should be medium-high intensity overall.
Candy-citrus, orange peel, orange flesh, mostly balanced by toasty/biscuity malt flavour. Light resin/pine flavour mid-to-back is appropriate. Moderate bitterness to keep it refreshing, though some sweetness and hop/malt flavour should linger.
Not quite as crisp as many of our other beers, should be around 2.7 vol/CO2. Balanced between sweeter malt flavour elements and dryness/bitterness to aid drinkability, with little to no astringency. Medium bodied. No alcoholic warmth. Low to slight creaminess is okay.
Should be a medium-bodied, hop forward, toasty-malt balanced beer with medium-high drinkability. Balance is key in this beer, but freshest samples should feature more dominant hop character in order to maximize balance as it ages. A little residual sweetness (more than most of our beers) is desirable, with low yeast character, medium bitterness, and low turbidity.
