POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Representative is directly responsible for the sales of our craft beer portfolio through effective planning and understanding of customer objectives. Your primary focus will be sales to ANBL, NSLC, PEILC, Agency Stores, Private Stores and Grocery stores licensed to sell Beer, Bars and Restaurants throughout Atlantic Canada.  This is an exciting relationship-driven position that requires strategic sales ability, customer service skills and craft beer knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Develop rapport with our valued Customers and promote the goodwill of the company.

  • Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments within the company’s call frequency mandate and sales goals.

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to customers addressing both the company’s priorities and customers’ needs.

  • Understand our retail partner’s policies and procedures.

  • Understand company pricing and product information.

  • Prepare monthly sales and expense reports.

  • Coordinate customer inquiries with Logistics regarding delivery and product information and other inquiries as they arise.

  • Other duties include Trade Show participation and product tastings as required.

REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Must be an energetic, self-motivated individual.

  • Must be organized, have attention to detail and good time management ability.

  • Must have a Passion for craft beer.

  • Must complete Cicerone Beer Server Certification within 6 months of employment.

  • Must have a valid Driver’s license and clean Driver’s record.

  • Occasional travelling and overnight away from home.

  • Prior business-to-business sales experience is preferred.

  • Evidence to support prior direct sales achievements is preferred.

  • Post Secondary education is preferred but not required.
