Beer Battered Haddock Tacos

Ingredients needed

Beer Batter:

- 1 cup all purpose flour

- 1 tablespoon of

    - salt

    - pepper

    - garlic powder,

    - oregano 

    - cayenne

- 1 Can of Braunschweig German Pilsner

- 2 Large eggs, beaten

Fish Tacos:

- Oil

- 1 pound of fresh haddock

- Tortillas

- Spinach

- Grape tomatoes

- Red pepper

- Green onion


- Pickled red onion

- Spicy mayo

- Fresh lime


Beer Batter:

Heat oil in a large frying pan.


In a large bowl, mix flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and cayenne. Slowly whisk beer into batter, adding beer too fast will cause clumping.

In a seperate smaller bowl add eggs and which until smooth. Dunk haddock into the egg wash and then coat in the beer batter.

Fish Tacos:

Place the fish on the hot pan and fry until golden brown.

Char tortillas in hot, dry skillet.
Combine spinach, grape tomatoes, red pepper, green onion, pickled red onion, spicy mayo and fresh lime juice.
